Diabetes, stroke, cardiovascular disease are common systemic disorders for dentists to encounter in their offices. Radiographic manifestations for these problems are frequently present and identifiable on panoramic, cephalometric and Cone Beam images if you know where to look. Early detection could save your patent’s life or help their primary care physician take interventional steps to minimize our patient’s risk. This course will review some of the key clinical features of systemic diseases and disorders we see in our patients and give you the tools to recognize the radiographic manifestations on multiple imaging modalities.
